It's impossible. I had the same problem and didn't find any solution. You have to finish Dead Kings to come back or use a former save. If there's something else, I don't know what. You gotta beat the first mission, if though you may be way under-leveled. Just one of the many many ways this broken-ass game is broken.

I went to fast Travel back to the Cafe to get my income and i accidently seemed to have been over the fast travel icon for Franciade and it started the Dead Kings DLC. in the memory menu it's Sequence 13 and i'm only in 5 so sorta don't want to play it until i beat the main game, however i can't exit out of the memory as VMfpe1t.
