Some of you may remember the GW2 inspired character art I had going prior to launch, specifically the Norn Ranger. Well, finally decided to take a break from my Warrior and try out a Ranger, despite their problems. Here he is. As with the drawing, went for a more Native-inspired approach to the Norn trope. Danikat.8537. Race doesn't make any difference to the game mechanics, all characters of the same profession play the same regardless of their race. But I think the lore and culture of the norn is more suited to a ranger than the charr. A charr ranger could work too of course, but they would be a bit more of an anomaly.
During the character creation, each race offers three different pets, from which a ranger can choose one starting pet. Pet’s type determines which environments the pet is able to fight in: aquatic (underwater), terrestrial (land) and amphibious (can fight both on land and underwater).
