Hi everyone,about a month ago had my recall for power steering corroded bolts.Its a 2017 Discovery Sport,when vehicle was checked sure enough mine had corroded bolts which under the recall a new steering rack is fitted,so far so good or so i thought.Second day after car returned warning light I have a 2016 diesel manual Disco Sport, bought as an ex-demo with about 800 miles on the clock with an extended warranty. First Gear. Nov 1, 2021. #24. Similar situation for me, four half year old 2017 discovery needs new engine due to compression failure in one of the cylinders. Have gone to JLR who are reviewing to see if they can offer a percentage, if anything. there was a massive oil leak supposedly fixed 6 months ago within the warranty.
