Yes USB standard specifies standard for shielding, also min. wire diam. (Which probably relates to power/charging not data.) I needed a 5m cable. I will trust Supra manufacturing process + QA rather than random/no-name from random vendor especially phone accessories shop.
Summary. Using poorly designed DAC (Schiit Modi 2) we can show that the electrical output of the DAC changes some in favor of TotalDAC d1 USB cable and filter. Short cables though beat it in that setup. Importantly when using a better DAC, the Behringer UMC204HD, the TotalDAC d1 cable provides no benefits at all.
Nov 8, 2021. #2. Most knowledgeable audio people say that cables don't make an audible difference (except for example capacitance in phono cables or long distances in noisy EMF environments) which actually also your measurements show, namely that those differences under -100dB are not audible but of course they are measurable. Objective data is only ONE element but hearing is the ultimate test and should always be the determining factor. Studios do NOT rely only on "specs" they chose by listening as their final determination in making a purchase. It's like saying all USB cables are the same or A/C cables etc,. Try them - blind is good and you know they're not all theGo to the Start menu, Settings, Network Connections, right click the cable connection (“Local Area Connection 2,” in our case), select Properties, and then, in the window that will appear
This absorption re-aligned the dilithium crystals in uniform order. As a side effect, the display of the battery charger appeared brighter and sharper. Cable engineers testing the sonic effect of dilithium crystals in the wire structure. Note the audiophile’s adaptive ears vs. the skeptic’s critical face. Hey Shawn, there is a huge difference between transferring data and listening to audio via USB DAC. With data transfers the last packet can actually be the first one that arrives and it doesn't really matter as long as the whole file shows up. Kn1nnkj.
